Wearing pink doesn't make
you weak; it makes you fierce...
Amongst the tragedy going on around us, Floridians find a way
to get through it with some humor. Nothing wrong with it. Does
not mean you do not care, or that you are disrespectful of other
peoples tragedies. Just means you find ways to cope. with it.
I find myself laughing even in mist of all that's going on.
Laughing because I realize that if we don't find something to
hold on to we might just lose it completely. The sadness in the
world is always there, but sometimes it's ok to be happy as well.
I love waking up to some humor. If we can't
laugh about ourselves, then we have issues.
Yesterday was another quiet day. I did do some
grocery shopping. A lot because with this strike in place
who know what happens next. I made sure Sniff has
enough food and littler to see him through the next 2
months if not more, should things go sideways.
I have had my third knee injection. I am still waiting for
that day when I can say all is good again. In the meantime,
I am seeing a little improvement. Happy for that. After
every injection I treat myself to a simple breakfast of
cafe con leche and tostadas. Makes me very happy.
To all a very good day. It's Thursday, means today I do not cook.
