Hurricanes may knock us down, but
they never knock us out. In the eye of the
storm, we discover who we truly are...
It’s a good thing Pinchers is really close to us
and that there is parking. Made it so much easier
to get out for a little and enjoy a Sunday in the
midst of this bad weather we’re having.
Where we are the rain has not come down too heavily,
but it is wet and drizzly, on the other hand I have seen
pictures of flooding not that far from us. I’m guessing
the week is also going to begin as a wet one for many.
Fort Myers Beach on the other hand, received a good drenching
with 2-4 feet of storm surge. Not as bad as Ian in a long
shot, but for sure FMB didn’t/doesn’t need this again.
Aside from a little outing and a run to Publix,
Sniff and I had a very relaxing day. I caught up on my
reading and we watched a movie. Pretty much a relaxing
day here. Sundays are for chilling and chilling we did.
