While most of the country is already feeling the cold,
here in South Florida we are experiencing warm breezy
temperatures. Summertime it's hot as hell, but
come winter, it just does not get any better.
As the new week begins, I look forward to see what
it holds. It sure promises to be busy and with everything
going on, you never know what can happen. Our life is
full of surprises. Not always good, but always interesting.
We have had a great weekend. relaxing, enjoying
little walks, some music, good food and some very
good drinks. I am happy, Arvid is happy and
Sniff is happy. Life is good. I may not have
everything I want, but I have what I need.
Today November 4th will be almost 4 years since
our Brutus died. Four years ago on this day, I
held our Brutus at home for the last time.
How was I supposed to know he was never going
to come back home? Would I have done things differently?
Like maybe not taking him to the vet to be amputated?
I do not know. I thought we were doing what was
best for our baby. But he died anyway.
Wishing everyone a great start of the new week.
May you all accomplish what you set out to do. As
one door shuts, and another one opens, and you
just kind of follow that path. My path has been
a little curvy, but it is what it is. It's all good.
At the end of the day it is what it is. Accept
it and move on. Sometimes you don't
need explanations. It is what it is...
