Wear gratitude like a cloak and
it will feed every corner of your life...
I'm super happy. My sister Mala and Reshma
came over last night. They spent the night with
us and all day today. I am still smiling.
With such short visit, we managed to do quite a bit.
As I always say, the best way to see Chicago is to walk it.
Early in the morning we set out to discover the city.
They decided to check out The Magnificent Mile, and
everything in between. We left and Arvid followed later.
It has been a great year for company. Already we
had Rima visiting, now Mala and Reshma. Loved that
they stayed with us. In the next week Victoria
and Michael will also be visiting the city.
We did everything possible in just a few hours.
One of the best part of the "tour" of the city was that
they were able to have a 360 degree view of Chicago.
We went to the Observatory Deck. This city has
KILLER views, and we saw them today (again).
Lunch was at the Cheesecake Factory, but before
lunch there was a band playing the Blues and some
country music. It was very good especially the ones
of Johnny Cash. Everyone was happy. I'm
still smiling because I got to see loved ones.
It has been a really good day. Sniff is a little "off" from his
routine, but will adjust as soon as we are alone again.
It has been a good year so far for family. Love it.
At the end of the day I am thankful that
my blessings are bigger than my problems...
