Life is like underwear, change is good...
So we finally made it out of the house yesterday. Happy day indeed.
I was chatting with my step-daughter Michelle in Norway telling her how
much snow we have and of course in the process I send pictures.
Michelle, practical as always said, "that's not a lot." She's absolutely
right of course, because compared to what she has in her hometown
in Norway and what my sister has in Vermont we have NOTHING!
Chatting with Michelle is always fun. She never sugar coats much.
When we got back from Florida I knew a special package was waiting for us
from Norway. I knew exactly who it was from, because Michelle gave me
the heads up. I secretly opened it and waited until the next morning
to see if Arvid noticed anything different as he opened the refrigerator.
It took him a few minutes, but he did. Our granddaughters from Norway. Now
we "see" them every morning and as many times as we open the refrigerator.
Aleah and Vanessa ~ they make us smile everyday. Thank you!!!
Almost Home and most of Branson still has some snow. But with the warming up the
next few days it will all soon be gone. Hopefully not to come back. Too
much work when you have to think of the safety of 80 plus people.
Here at home Arvid has his own special way of dealing with snow.
He prefers to kick it away with his shoes. And we did end
up buying a snow shovel, but kicking was "faster"
The sun is shining. I see the birds and squirrels outside.
Sniff is happy and following Arvid around ~ yes we are home and
it is going to be a good day. Wishing you all the same.
A year ago, I would've never pictured my life the way it is now....
