The storm will pass; things will get better.
It's pouring now, but it can't rain forever...
For those living in Florida, we all know that Hurricane season has begun. Most of the
times it's not that much of a big deal. Lots of rain, flooding and mayor thunder and
lightning. This has been the case on and off for the last few weeks. Last night
it was really very much so the case. Here in Fort Lauderdale and Lauderdale
By-The-Sea we saw lightening like I have not seen in a long time.
Even Brutus who has gotten used to much of the thunder and the bad weather sounds
due of course to Arvids influence, was traumatized. He ran under the bed and stayed
there for the longest of times. Even though Arvid left his TV show to comfort him,
it was a while before Brutus came back out to join us in the living room.
The wind is currently howling and blowing like crazy.
The skies are dark and it makes for a perfect stay at home kind of day.
Best time to catch up on the many things I have pending. Bookkeeping, housework etc...
Best of all, Brutus is sound asleep under the bed covers as
the thunder rolls. Arvid still out and I am busy making lunch for when he comes home.
