In my entire life I have had about 6 Appletini's ever. This began in Chicago when
we were there recently and since coming back to Florida,
I have also had a few; totalling like I said about 6..
As Arvid says, liquor and I do not agree. After about 3 sips of the Appletini,
I am already dizzy and my eyes are spinning, but I happen to really like the taste of it
so I sip the rest of it for the duration of our outing. One Appletini can last me for hours.
I really like to know how to make everything on my own so of course I looked
up the recipe of an Apple Martini. Most simple recipe I have ever seen. We had the
vodka but I was missing the apple schnapps. The grocery store had a variety of Martini mixes,
but being me I read the ingredients and did not like the one little one that said "artificial flavors"
Next thing I did was google how to make apple schnapps. Simple as can be. I told Arvid
that now we don't have to go and buy any schnapps because I can make my own.
I also told him the only bad thing is that it would have to sit for 3-4 months.
Before I knew what was going on, Arvid said he was going to go and buy me an
apple schnapps. I was happy but I also told him to just get the smallest one
because knowing me it will probably only be used once.
Good thing is that now I don't have to wait 4 months. Now my mix can
ferment for as long as it likes. Because now I am making my own Appletini's.
Life is so good. Just a drink, a Martini, shaken not stirred.
Yes, it was a Saturday for Martini's.
You don't want to get me started about apple martinis
and the affect they have on my lovemaking.
I might just throw you down and make some love to you right here and now....
