Reflecting on my life I can truly say I am blessed.
A lot has been going on and I'm fortunate
to have amazing people in my life...
Yesterday was my birthday and spending it with family was a treat.
My step daughter, Victoria is a one of a kind. With her never give up attitude
we did manage to have a little "celebration" Nothing big, but for what it's worth
it made me happy and that's what matters. I love talking to her she is smart, witty
and with an always can do attitude. My kind of girl. Whenever she does something it
is always in style. Even the bag with my present is beautiful. I also collect pretty bags.
Lunch was pleasant starting off with my favorite...Pina Colada. For a special surprise,
Victoria told the waitress it was my birthday and at the end I was presented with the
customary cake and candle. Only thing was that mine was special, thank you Victoria.
Loads and loads of chocolate combined into a tiny cake, but was enough to pass around and
everyone to have a taste of. Yes, the day was special and made more special by Victoria.

Victoria and I. I love this picture and for me, the day she posted it on Facebook
was the best present I could ever receive from her. I like my relationship
with my step daughter. I just hope to continue building on it and each day getting to
know her more and more because the woman she is today is a woman I am very proud of.
Soon she will be going back to Norway. Unfortunately due to all the things I had
going on we did not spend as much time as I wanted, but I know summer is not far away
and soon we will see them again. Hopefully we will pick up where we left off and have a great time.
It was a very good day. I am happy and today we will see them all again.

Anyone can make you happy by doing something special,
but only someone special can make you happy without doing anything..
