The most ordinary things could be made extraordinary...
Quiet day. No big traumas happening here today. Just a few doctors visits,
but otherwise all good at my front.
Sometimes you know there is someone who is just watching over you
making sure your days are pleasant and good. I have such a friend and she made me happy.
As I was just sitting thinking about things that are going on Arvid came up with the mail.

In there was a special card from a special friend. A friend who lives far away.
We met in California and formed a bond that to this day is as strong as ever.
We bonded over tragic circumstances and we became each others support system.
To this day when I need someone to talk to and when she needs the same,
we know we can count on each other. I count my blessings everyday.
I have wonderful friends and family.
I am the lucky one.
