Hello all. Hope you have been having a good weekend so far. We have had
a quite time so far, which was really nice after the busy week we've had.
Brutus has already been medicated so that is one stressful chore out of the way.
These days he has been so good about taking his medicines. Yes, he does not like it
and yes he tries to run and hide, but when I finally catch up with him he just lays there
as I squirt it into his mouth. Guess he knows he gets a treat and brushing afterwards.
Yesterday I was at the mall. As I waited to checkout, no other person was
ahead of me just to clarify. Anyway I waited for a good five minutes before the
salesgirl finally acknowledged me. She was very slow. It took her all of about
10 to 15 minutes for her to check me out. Not like I had that much anyway.
I'm not patient I admit it. I worked as a salesperson a while back and I know that
to be productive and effective one must be fast, aggressive, knowledgeable and pleasant.
This girl was none of the above. Even so I waited and kept quiet, but as I was leaving
I looked at her and said, "Miss if you want to keep working you better pick up
the pace here because before you know it you will get kicked out". I felt better afterwards.
The mall is starting to set up for Christmas. Halloween is soon here then
Thanksgiving, but already Christmas is in the air. My favorite time of
the year. Pity not Arvid's. Sunday is here and it's going to be a good one.
All I want is to relax, and for a change no cooking nor no cleaning if only
one day a week. Yeah! for now that sounds really good.
