Everyone wants happiness, no one wants pain,
but you can't make a rainbow without a little rain...
As I sat with my girlfriend yesterday catching up over coffee and sharing
a few good laughs, things got a little serious as she looked at me and said,
"Nadiya, I am having a few not so good days"
She then clarified and said, "I have actually been having a few not so good years"
I looked at her and though I knew some of it, I never imagined the extent of her
sadness until this moment. She always has a smile and is always so "carefree"
She said, "things are not always what the appear to be" and with that a whole
new chapter of her life opened up. I just looked at her and I knew exactly
what she meant. We all have our issues to deal with in life. Some of us are
just better than others at "hiding" it.
As the saying goes, "never judge a book by its color"
