Road trips aren't measured by miles markers,
but by moments...
Road trips! A favorite of Arvid's and mine. Once again we are headed to North Carolina to see
my parents and a two of my sisters and their families.
As usual this is something we always look forward to and enjoy. We both
have good times with my parents. The trip is a bit long so
we will be doing several stops along the way so that Arvid
can stretch and relax his legs.
Unfortunately, this year we will not make it to Norway. Sad because we have
a little granddaughter and we have not seen her as yet. Here is where Facebook
comes in handy, but the good thing is that we hope to see them in Florida.
Yes, for months now we have been excited and looking forward to this.
It will be great to just spend some quality time with the three of them.

We see her there and she is precious. Life is strange. This was one year we
were really looking forward to Norway. Now we hope to see Aleah, Michelle
and Emil sometime soon.
Life goes on and we do the best we can with what we have. For now it is mainly
road trips. Flying long distances not the best for Arvid. I get lucky because
most of the times these road trips lead to either a sister or my parents.
I am happy and I know very fortunate.
For now wishing you all a pleasant day.
I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list.
I may not have gone where I intended to go,
but I think I have ended up where I intended to be...
