Living in Florida, where the sun shines almost 365 days year you would think that both Arvid and I would always be tanned and enjoying the sunny days outdoors. This is not the case. We hardly ever go out in the sun. Most places we go we take the car and it's from one air conditioned place to another.
Now we come to Mexico, and in less than two days we are dark, tanned and completely burnt, and we have not sat out in the sun at all. This is just by constantly being on the moving, walking and actually enjoying the outdoors. Strange how we have to come to another country to enjoy what we have all year long.
Here we find ourselves walking everyday. Something we both enjoy very much yet don't do enough of in Florida. The sun is HOT! We find ourselves going out for morning walks everyday. Always we find something to do during the middle of the day. I love going and seeing places so Arvid tags along as well. Though I tell him that I can very well manage to go around town n my own he always insists on coming along even when at times I know he does not really want to.
For instance, today I went alone for a walk, and before I knew it there was Arvid right by my side. Said he was bored and restless. Said he came looking for me so that we can go to our happy hour. Yep, another thing in Mexico, we enjoy go out for the happy hour. Something we do not do either in Florida.
Yeah, we are having a good time. It would be so much better with Brutus here. Arvid said to me, "you know, I like it here. I can really get used to this". Yes, it is good here. We are having fun, we are relaxed and we are happy. If only Brutus was here.
Whenever in Mexico I get my hair braided. Tradition and I am really liking it. Easy maintenance and perfect for this heat. It's been braided now for almost 8 days. Soon time to let it out. Guess the next time will be in November....
