Finally Here...

I'm having a good time. I'm going to treat every game and every day as if they are my last because I now know that they could be...

Mom and dad arrived.  We were at the house waiting patiently for them with lots of good food and drinks.

Little welcome to Florida.

I feel that the Holidays have begun.  Seeing the house all of a sudden fill up with their presence and all the goodies they brought, I know this will be another good Christmas.

Not one to sit still, my parents also have a very full agenda, aside from spending time with us they have many friends and family also in the area so come tomorrow they are heading out to the Hard Rock casino and Hotel for dinner and to meet with friends.   

I love the independence in my mom and dad. They want to go everywhere and checkout everything.  They are always doing something going somewhere.  Unlike many I know, who visit and never go any place other than Fort Lauderdale.  How boring.  I mean why come to the same place year after year and never discover anything or anywhere else!  Boring!

My mom likes long drives and my dad and her sure have a wonderful life always going to new places and meeting new people.  As Arvid says, if there is anyone who can win over the neighbors, it is my dad.  He has this ability to make friends with just about everyone.  Something I must have gotten from him.

There is no one I know that is friendlier than my dad.  Before they leave, I know he will know each neighbor by name and most likely he would have invited them over to the house for drinks and dinner.  My parents are very hospitable and generous. To this day the neighbors from our previous house still asks for him and always tell me to say hi to my parents.

Arvid and I will most likely see them later and also we will have them at our place on Saturday.  Dinner, drinks and the Fort Lauderdale Boat Parade.

 The evening is all set.  Food has been ordered from our favorite restaurant plus I will be making a few of my parents' favorite.  Will be a good time even though Arvid still not fully 100% at his best.

Yes, I am happy.  Life is good and when my parents are around it is even better.
