Time To Go....

All changes are more or less tinged with melancholy, for what we are leaving behind is part of ourselves. ...

I woke up early this morning. The sun was just rising and I was was just amazed at the many colours in the sky. Our last sunrise for a while here in Chicago. The summer is officially over for us. It has been good and it's time to now go back to Florida

CHICAGO

I thought I would be a little sadder leaving Chicago, but I'm not. I look forward to being back in our fairly new apartment in Florida. We only had a few months in it before coming to Chicago so there is still lots to get used to.

FLORIDA

I look forward to being on the balcony with Arvid and Brutus and enjoying our view. Very calming and relaxing. We are fortunate in that both of our homes we have pretty nice views.

It will also be nice to be able to take Brutus out with us again. He loves his little "walks" in the balcony. For some reason we do not take him out in the balcony in Chicago. He enjoys his Florida one and seems to get quite a kick at seeing the boats and hearing the different sounds.

Goodbye for now Chicago...

Back in Florida we have lots to do. This is good. We have a house to fix and get it ready. Hopefully we can rent it out to friends during the winter months. Looking forward to this very much. Something to keep us busy. Hopefully my parents will come and visit also. Lots to do and lots to look forward to.
