I understand what's it like to work all week and on Friday night just want to go and leave your brain at the door, buy some popcorn and be thrilled by something...
Like most, we also look forward to Fridays. The night before Arvid spends quite some time looking for things for us to do. Of course, I already know what I would like for us to do, but I just have to make him think that he also wants the same. Always fun and always works!
This has been quite a week for us so far. We have gotten quite a lot done. For the short time we have been back in Florida, I have cleaned more than I have cleaned for 4 months in Chicago. That's a lot of cleaning.
Getting the house ready and looking good is something we enjoy very much, but it does require lots of work. Many/most times the unexpected always happens and the budget is....well let's say the budget is always higher than expected.
That's why today, Friday I look forward to not doing much cleaning. At least not at the house. Plan to spend a nice day with my cousin and friends. Should be interesting.
For Brutus everyday is Friday. With not a care in the world he has it made. He is really fun and keeps us smiling all the time. Just looking at Brutus I forget about all the terrible things (at least for a while) and I am happy. Happy just to see he and Arvid having such a fun time.
Yes, it's Friday and the weekend has begun. I really like weekends! Just seem that things are calmer, Arvid is less over worked and I am more relaxed. Plus there is also always time to check out the mall, have lunch with friends or just relax at home with Arvid and Brutus. For me that's the best!

Now on Friday nights, if I want to go hang out with friends, I go hang out with friends. If I want to stay in and be in the hot tub and have people over to watch movies, I do that.
