It ain't what they call you, it's what you answer to...
Arvid is one of those guys who does not mind doing house work. His favorite chore is to do the breakfast dishes while listening to the Blues on Sirius Radio. This he looks forward to everyday because he says it relaxes him. Me I am all too happy to have him do them.
He also helps with the laundry. In Chicago we do not have a washer nor dryer, but we do not mind. There are over 30+ machines in the basement. Never have to wait.
Here he is cleaning the balcony. This was a planned chore. He always does it, but it has to be at the right time. Yesterday was the right time because it was the start of the Blues Festival. Now as he says, we are ready to sit on the balcony, enjoy the view and listen to the music if we like.
When Arvid does certain chores, I know I will be working also. I provide everything he needs. When I do my chores, I provide everything I need. He says that "that's fair."
One of the many things I enjoy and love about Arvid is his uniqueness.
Don't compromise even if it hurts to be yourself..
