Hope is being able to see that there
is light despite all of the darkness...
To tell you the truth I am really really sad. Following the
Eagles made the day so much better. I shared their adventures
with Arvid and together we laughed at their hilarious antics. Now
it's so quiet at the nest. M15 and F23 are in deep mourning and
have not been seen by the nest since yesterday afternoon.
These last pictures of F23 haunt me. She looks
lost and confused. She's staring at the nest where she
had two babies, but which is now an empty nest.
Arvid and I have been spending time with my parents.
Arvid and my dad did a little work in the garage. Together
they assembled a few things. Arvid said my dad was the
supervisor, and he Arvid the worker😂 They had fun.
Yesterday was a gorgeous day, weatherwise. Of
course we had to go for a little walk. It's been quite a
while since we last went and there is always something
interesting to see Yesterday was yoga girl stretching.
Starting tomorrow we have ArtFest downtown by
the river. Fort Myers is expecting anywhere from 90,000
to 100,000 people. Guess who will be going as well?
My Sniff is enjoying the comforts of his heating bed.
It's not that cold anymore, but he just likes a little
extra warmth in the early hours of the mornings.
A good day to all. I have been "stalking" Facebook for
any news on M15 and F23. Nothing so far, but as of yesterday
evening they were spotted together away from the cameras view.
Thanks to the many photographers on the ground we know
that as of yesterday they were still alive and together.
We must accept finite disappointment,
but never lose infinite hope...
