Mangos are a symbol of love and friendship in India,
one of their countries of origin. In Hinduism, mangos are
considered sacred and are a symbol of love and fertility...
Being born in South America, as in Guyana and at
one time British Guyana, there was no way you would not be
surrounded by tropical fruit. We grew up with our maternal grand-
mother, and she had a ton of fruit trees, amongst them a variety of
mango trees. Then being raised in Puerto Rico, you can say we
were raised eating mangoes. Loved them then, love them now. So
for breakfast this week I will be enjoying mangoes from Sprouts,
and that my friends is just a perfect way to start the new week 🥭
For many Mondays are not the best of days. After the
weekend we tend to get a little sluggish and the thought of getting
up early and heading back to work is not a welcome one. I don't
know what the day hold for us as of right now, but can always
hope that at least one of our goals gets accomplished.
We don't mess around when it's Hurricane time.
Unfortunately some hoard more than necessary.
Arvid and I had a good outing yesterday, even if the
weather was wet and dark. We had good food and
enjoyed a little outing out of the ordinary.
I have been awake since 3am. Not by choice.
Of course Sniff is also awake and laying next to me
as I do my thing, all covered up with my sweater.
As of right now it is extremely quiet. There is no wind.
There is no rain. Some would say the calm before the storm
It’s Monday. Get a new perspective. Whatever
obstacle you’re facing — it’s not permanent...
