Until one has loved an animal,
a part of one's soul remains unawakened...
Our family has just added a new member to its family. Our
niece Danielle and her husband Andrew will soon be mom and dad
to this adorable Golden Doodle. They got him a few days ago,
but will not be bringing him home until he's a little bigger.
When they went to see him is name is Popeye, Danielle
has always wanted a doggie named Wally. Compromise. His
name is Wally Popeye Dyal-Ngo. Yup. Long name, can't wait
to meet him. Even Arvid said he was so cute. As they say,
our perfect companions never have fewer than four feet
On Friday Arvid and I went to one of our local farmers market.
It was pretty interesting in that it had food trucks, live music and of
course the "usual" stuff. Arvid went more for the fresh baked
bread, but hung out listening to music while I browsed around.
I bought fresh picked mangoes directly from Edison and Ford Winter
Estates mango trees. Well made my day. This way I don't have to go
pick the fallen ones. I can just go and buy them anytime I want.
The Florida Panthers play their home games at
Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida. Sunrise
is a town just west of Ft. Lauderdale and just north
of Miami, and they are off to a super great start.
