Expect the best. Prepare for the worst. Capitalize on what comes...
Christmas is coming the goose is getting fat. Please put a penny
in the old mans hat. If you haven't got a penny, a half penny
will do. If you haven't got a half penny then God bless you!
For some reason this song is stuck with me right now. Brings
back memories of a wonderful childhood and Christmases
in Puerto Rico. Life was different then. As a child you never
realize how good you have it, but I do. I remember the hard
times, but I remember the good times even more.
As the new week begins, it's countdown to Christmas. As
I child I remember us five girls being so excited. Could be
that the excitement was what made the wait even better.
I don't have the same excitement today as when I was
younger, but I still love Christmas. It's also my moms birthday.
Sadly we will not be seeing her this year for her birthday. We
are all spending Christmas in our respective homes/States.
Once again we will be having a few cold days this week.
I know, it's nothing compared to what many have, but for
us Floridians, this is cold. We so are not prepared for it.
Wishing everyone a very happy week. For many Christmas is
a very sad and lonely time. If you can make someone smile. Do it.
Kindness is never wasted and it makes a world of difference.
Don't start your day with the broken pieces of yesterday...
