If you have the opportunity to play this game
of life you need to appreciate every moment...
Arvid and I went driving around. He said we need to
experience our surroundings and get a good feel for it. When
we moved here last September, it was chaos. Hurricane Ian
made everything a little more challenging. A lot actually.
We did not have enough time then, now we do. Boats are still displaced.
Jesus is still there entertaining the crowd, mostly me I think, and the
palm trees keep swaying away. Life is good and it will get better.
The community is strong, but the loss and devastation Ian
left behind will forever leave it's mark with the people. Many will
move on, others not so sure how well they can. Life is not easy.
Yesterday I found 2 framed pictures that were packed away. We
move around too much. One was of Brutus, the other was Shadow.
I put them on the night stand by Arvid's side. When he saw them he said,
"that was so nice. Thank you" and he just looked at them for a while.
Here at home all is good. Arvid and I went to the movies yesterday.
I love the movies. Maybe I will go back next week. Meanwhile
here at home all is good. Sniff is as usual slacking off again.
Life is made of ever so many partings welded together...
