Friends, sun, sand, and sea, that sounds like a summer to me...
So, when it's cold we all complain about how cold it is.
Well now we complain about how hot it is. The temperature
went from cold to extreme heat. This is Missouri/Branson
after all. Changes by the minute. The weather that is.
Arvid is loving his days of being in shorts again.
Feels like he's back in Puerto Rico or Florida.
Here at Almost Home the roses are in full bloom.
We have five rose bushes and every one of them
have hundreds of blooms. It looks pretty and
close up it smells good. A pretty sight 🌹
I have switched the bird feeders, but somehow every
day when I get home, they are still empty. I fill them up
every morning and by the next morning all the food is gone.
Those squirrels are climbing up to the deck now.
I can't seem to get away from them ever.
The days, weeks, months go by so fast,
but my heart remembers. I think of my PR
kitties very often. Especially in the wee hours
of the morning when I lie awake in bed. Life.
My Brutus is always in my heart, as is little Shadow.
Sniff is my home and my happy place. My day is
complete when he comes to us and just snuggles up.
Wishing everyone a happy day. At Almost home I can
smell the roses all day long. A beautiful sight all day long.
My niece and her boyfriend are on their way to Aruba.
Five whole days of tropical drinks and relaxation 🍹.
Ahhh.. those days seem so far away right now for us.
Sometimes you just have to go with the waves...
