Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick.
Don’t lose faith. It is a succession of lessons
which must be lived to be understood...
On my walk yesterday I met up with a couple of "new"
kitties. One thing about the island that I do not care for much,
is that there are too many stray cats and dogs everywhere. I try
to feed them, but there are so many. Our building has now
posted a warning states, "DO NOT FEED THE CATS"
There are so many running around, and some are
very skinny. Sniff has foodies he does not eat, and I
have to find another way to feed them but at the same
time not annoy the other owners living here.
Did some more bird watching and I think one of the
birds I captured is an eagle or a falcon. Will have to do some
bird studying while here, just to get my birds correct.
Arvid and I have been having some very good times
here in Puerto Rico. We have done more than we were
doing back home during the pandemic times.
I asked Arvid if we were to go back home if he
would feel safe to eat out as we do here. He said no.
We both believe that here in Puerto Rico they do a much
better job at maintaining and sanitizing everywhere.
Sunday is always a good day. Relaxed. Calls to family and
our day out. Life is good and for that I am grateful.
Gratitude turns what we have into enough.
At times, our own light goes out and is rekindled
by a spark from another person. Each of us has
cause to think with deep gratitude of those
who have lighted the flame within us...
