On the way to North Carolina to see my parents and sister. Could not be any happier.
As we drive, Arvid keeps telling me that Norway looks exactly the same. The drive
at times is very scenic and the colors of the trees even in winter is pretty.
As you can see from the above picture, winter came to my parents' home. Not usual for
them to have so much snow, but there was nothing "usual" about this year. This was
earlier inn the winter, now the snow has all been cleared away. We hope so.
Neither Arvid nor I are too crazy about the cold. That's what we live in
The Sunshine State. The cold is the main reason we never go to Norway in the winter.
We both will probably get the cold again. Fingers crossed that's not going to happen.
We are both looking forward to seeing my parents again. Arvid and my dad have a very
special bond and I do enjoy seeing them together. My dad tells stories of when he
was a little boy, and Arvid does the same. They both share quite a lot of memories
