"Home" At Mom And Dad's

One of the greatest titles in the world is parent, and one of the biggest 

blessings in the world is to have parents to call mom and dad..

Nothing like being at your mom and dad's home and having them "take care" of you for a few
days.  Right now this is the best cure I can ask for.  I have been having some rough days.
 Not only because of Brutus, but also because of my own misgivings. Yes, the mood
 swings and the weight gain has been gaining me down lately combined with
 Brutus' ailments it has not been that great a time lately.  Now for a few
 days I just want to relax and "pretend" all is good.  Just for a little.

The other day a friend called and casually he asked me how I was doing.  Guess he was not

 ready to hear the truth, but then I am also not too "gentle" when giving out the truth. 

 Sometimes I know I have a tendency exaggerate and I guess it freaked him out.

Anyway for the next few days, Brutus has a break from pills and I have a break from having

 to force it into him and to force feed him.  We can all use this.  Just hope that because

 of this his paw does not react negatively to not having his medication.

For now we will just relax and enjoy my parents' company and that of my sister and her

husband.  My mom of course will go overboard preparing everything for us. Sometimes 

I really miss the days where life was easy.  When I was a little girl with 

no care  in the world.  OH well.  To enjoy these days at "home"
