Beach sand, perfect tans. Day walks, night talks. Sleepless nights, pillow fights...and spending every day with those who matter most....ahhh Summertime
Our summer is soon up in Chicago...oddly enough, I am not too sad this year compared to last year. This year we have done so much travelling that I feel exhausted and ready to slow down. Thing is as soon as a day passes both Arvid and I get restless and something happens, we just have to be on the move.Winter has come very soon for Chicago this year...sad. This makes is easier to go back to Florida, not my most favorite of places except for winters. Nothing beats it. Compared to Chicago, I think Florida is so boooorring. In Chicago we are always out walking, doing something, seeing things...people watching and lots of music and good food fill our days in Chicago
Another reason I would like to go back to Florida is because my parents will be visiting and I want to be there when they get there...Arvid was more interested in staying on a little later, but I made him see how it was best to go back early...yeah!! got my way again and we are both happy!!Another good thing is Brutus has so much more to see from the many windows in the house and that always makes us happy....if Brutus is happy we are happy.
This has been a very good summer. We have had quite a few trips to New York and Florida. Visited my sisters in PA an VA. Although his year we did not make it to Norway we did see everyone earlier in the year and we even had Arvid's brother visit us in Chicago. I have enjoyed many shopping days at Macy's and have bought more than I will be able to carry back to Florida. Arvid does not know all the stuff he has bought me...haha!! Do not plan on telling him either.
We have discovered many new restaurants, places and a beautiful beach right within walking distance of us. Have fed the ducks, seen fireworks every Wednesdays and Saturdays and almost every weekend been out listening to music or discovering new places.

The few weeks we have left will be filled with different restaurants, lots of music and many cappuccinos to be savored...can't wait. For now it is as Arvid says...time to party all the weekends we have remaining. Sounds good to me! The best part is knowing that next summer we will be back!
How lucky are we to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard...
