Weekends don't count unless you spend them doing something completely pointless....
Like most of you I look forward to our weekend always with great anticipation and excitement. Arvid and I are very spontaneous people so for us everyday holds something unexpected. The weekdays are fairly predictably, mostly work, work and work, but comes the weekend we just absolutely do whatever we please.
We may decide on the spur of the moment to go visit another State or country just because we saw for instance a car, an apartment or something that caught our fancy. We do not necessarily have to buy it, but the fun lies in the trip itself.
Not so long ago we visited the Dominican Republic because we taught we might have been interested in property there. We were not, but we still had a blast and that's what matters.
We also went to Myrtle Beach for the same reason were not interested in anything there, but ended up having a good time and discovering a place we had never been to.Our spur of the moment trip took us to Eleuthera in 2004. Next thing you know we have a home there...we enjoy doing these kinds of stuff and to me the adventure part is what makes our life so exciting. It always starts with "what shall we do this weekend"?
Looking forward to the coming weekend because I will be visiting my sister and family in Puerto Rico. It is going to be an absolutely fun time. All of us except for one sister, Rima will be there. Can't wait to see everyone and just do absolutely NOTHING for a change, but just be with my family!
Sometimes the most important thing in a whole day is the rest we take between two deep breaths...
