Home For The Holidays:)

The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree:  the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other.....

Christmas is a time for family and every year we spend Christmas with my parents in North Carolina.  We are both very much looking forward to this especially after all the hard work we have been doing.

Also, my sisters and their families will be there.  We get a chance to see all the nieces and nephews...can't wait even Arvid said he was looking forward to seeing them.  My nieces and nephews adore Arvid because he always finds time to chat with them:)

Summers we visit Arvid's family and for the Holidays we visit my family...works out really great.  Christmas means more to me than it does for Arvid....he really is not crazy about it.  I love Christmas.  Some of my fondest memories are of Christmas as a child.  My parents made it special for us always and they still do.  Home for the holidays.....nothing beats it. 

The smell of the tree, the scent of fresh baked goodies and all the wonderful aromas that is unique of my mom's cooking makes Christmas my favorite season of the year:)

Christmas is forever, not for just one day,

for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away

like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.  The good you do for others is good you do yourself:)

From home to home, and heart to heart, from one place to another. The warmth and joy of Christmas brings us closer to each other....
