We are in the process of selling our apartment and at times it is very frustrating because, one the market is just not like it was a few years ago...much more difficult to sell today than let's say 3 years ago... but, the main reason is the inconvenience of always having to clean and make it ready for showing.We do it but it is starting to wear on us.....especially Brutus who is always afraid of the people that come in. He is a beautiful cat but at the same time a little wimpy....we love him no matter what.
For those of you who have been in this situation you know what I mean. You never know when someone will want to see your place. If we are lucky we have a 24 hours notice. Most times it is just a few hours and then it's a mad dash to spiff things up.
It not as if it were a mess but still there is spiffing to be done. Luckily we are fast. We can be ready within an hour or so.

One of the main reasons we are looking to downsize is because we would like to spend more and more time in Eleuthera and also because in the summer we would like to spend at least 5 months in Chicago..........
We do need a place here in Florida but we have agreed that we do not need as big as we have right now....it's only the 3 of us....Here are some pictures of our home in Fort Lauderdale....
