Then we have stuff like this:
1. Man Kills Self Before Shooting Wife and Daughter
This one I caught in the SGV Tribune the other day and called the Editorial Room and asked who wrote this. It took two or three readings before the editor realized that what he was reading was impossible!!! They put in a correction the next day..
2. If Strike Isn't Settled Quickly, It May Last Awhile ....Ya think?!
3. Something Went Wrong in Jet Crash, Expert Says ....No crap, really Ya think?
4. Police Begin Campaign to Run Down Jaywalkers ....Now that's taking things a bit far!
Best one yet:
A Young woman was pulled over for speeding. A Michigan State Trooper
walked to her car window, flipping open his ticket book, she said, 'I bet
you are going to sell me a ticket to the State Trooper's Ball.'
He replied, ' Michigan State Troopers don't have balls.' There was a moment of silence. He then closed his book, got back in his patrol car and left.
As we look around our surrondings we realize that there are so many unsual moments/things that make our lives interesting and enjoyable everyday. The key to this is to be able to find what is that special thing/person/place that makes us happy.....
So many things make me happy....and not necessarily material things but just those tender moments in life with that special someone ......like our kitty Brutus, or like arriving in Eleuthera without a care in the world knowing that for the next few weeks we will be in our own little piece of heaven on earth......

Some of the best and most unspoiled beaches in the world are found here in Eleuthera. The Travel Channel recently named our Harbour Island Beach one of the top ten sand beaches worldwide. And Surfer’s Beach is considered the world’s second best for surfing. Both of these are on Eleuthera/Harbour Island. If you prefer relaxing on secluded beaches, there are many where the only footprints you’ll see are your own.
It’s quite literally heaven on Earth here.
WELCOME TO THE ISLAND OF THE BAHAMAS!!!
CHEERS!!!!
